How We Helped Improve Monofilament Quality for a Textile Manufacturer in India

Smooth Startup with Proactive Technical Guidance

Prior to production, we held a detailed technical coordination meeting with the customer and their consultant to align on material handling and processing requirements. As part of our standard best practices, we reminded the team that PA materials require proper drying before extrusion.

During the initial trial run, however, our engineers observed discrepancies between the expected and actual packaging of the PA raw material. Upon further investigation, it became clear that the material could not be processed effectively without specific additives—information that had not been previously communicated by the consultant. Thanks to our team’s keen observation and timely intervention, the issue was identified before it could lead to equipment blockage or production downtime. While the customer expressed frustration over the oversight, they were grateful for our technical expertise and quick response, which ensured a smooth resolution.


Free HAS% Testing: Ensuring Shrinkage Performance Meets Standards

Beyond diameter precision and denier uniformity, the customer also placed significant emphasis on shrinkage performance (Free HAS%)—a key indicator for product stability under heat. During PET monofilament production, the initial lab test results showed deviations from expected shrinkage rates. We recommended allowing the yarn to stabilize for 24 hours before retesting. Our team participated in the follow-up lab test and verified that the results conformed to industry standards, effectively addressing the concern and confirming the product’s reliability.
